Does a wall oven require venting to the exterior?

Tuesday, November 17, 2020

One of our home inspection customers recently asked “Did you check the vent for the wall oven?” While that sounds like a sensible request, ovens do not have a vent to the outside of the home like some range hoods do. They have only a small vent slot at the front, either at the top or bottom.
